2020/21 Green Shield

Winners of the 2019/2020 AW Green Shield Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club will hold its Green Shield trial on Saturday 18 July 2020 at the Norm O’Neill Cricket Centre at Penshurst at 2 Percival Street, Penshurst.

The trial will operate in compliance with the Cricket Australia’s current Return to Training Protocols and Guidelines For Cricket Activity. Both documents are available on the Cricket NSW website.

Triallists and parents are encouraged to be aware of the Protocols and Guidelines.

ESCC will determine the number of the participating triallists in accordance with current health requirements.

To ensure compliance with the relevant Guidelines and Protocols, parents and guardians will not be allowed entry into the cricket centre.

All participants will be required to complete a NSW government COVID-19 Awareness and Compliance Questionnaire upon arrival at the Centre.

Subject to inspection by the coaching staff, participants may use their own ball when bowling.

ESCC is very happy to announce that its 2019-2020 Green Shield-winning coaches, Steve Green and Mark Morley, have been re-appointed.

Registration must be submitted by 10 July 2020

  • Green Shield is under 16 as at 31st August 2020
  • Please bring your own cricket gear and rubbers
  • The 2020/21 Green Shield Competition will be played during mid December 2020 - end January 2021
