EASTERN SUBURBS CRICKET ACADEMY
Purpose
'The purpose of the Academy is to provide a pathway for elite junior cricketers to filter into the Grade Club'
What is the E.S.C.A?
The E.S.C.A is an initiative consisting of one squad of 20 - 30 players participating in a structured skill development program. The program is focused on ensuring efficiency of technique and optimising performance of all squad members.
The ESCA will run annually beginning in August and concluding February. Squad members will have regular access to qualified specialist coaches over the course of the program. During specialists sessions all key areas of the game will be extensively covered and individual disciplines catered for accordingly.
The E.S.C.A will additionally enable players to become familiar with expectations and culture of the Grade Club as training will often coincide with the seniors training regime.
