Parents, as you will appreciate, a communuity sporting club relies on the support and assistance of parents, grandparents and friends of its players to provide the necessary admin and back-up support. Easts is very grateful for the help provided by those prepared to volunteer. Please indicate on the Registration form how you might be able to assist your child's or childrens' team(s) such as coaching, managing, scoring, umpiring, etc.

Wherever possible, Easts tries to ensure that players play with their friends and/or that they remain in the same team as they were in previously. The Registration form includes a section where players can nominate who they would like to play with. In relation to new players, especially in the younger age groups such as the u8's and 9's where boys are new to the club, we look to select sides with players from the same schools or from the same residential areas to increase convenience and the likelihood of playing with players known to each other.

If you have any queries, please contact your team coach or manager or Michael Furlong on 0408 884 286 or send the query by e-mail (registration@eastscricket.com.au).

Good luck for the coming season.

Parent Support

Our Club runs solely on the good work of parent volunteers. We always need more parents to help so please indicate on the Registration Form how you will assist your team, even if only for a few games. Scoring, umpiring and managing for junior teams is very straightforward, even for the uninitiated, and help with coaching from anyone with cricket experience is most welcome.
